Our lodge is nestled atop Kangaroo Island’s spectacular north-eastern shores. From the balcony you gaze down to Pink Bay where a break in the coastal headland reveals waves lapping across our sheltered beach. Beyond lie the moody waters of historic Backstairs Passage and Fleurieu Peninsula’s imposing southern flanks. It’s a grand vista: captivating, ever-changing and always rewarding.
So too are the surprising views you enjoy closer to home. The lodge is set in a wilderness sanctuary bristling with 250 acres of prime bush habitat. Our neighbours – who often pop by for a drink or a feed – include a chirpy throng of woodland birds, possums, grazing kangaroos and even the occasional echidna.
