The homestead, built of local limestone in 1882, is a two storey Victorian mansion with wide verandas and an elegant and timeless symmetry.

Originally the home of the Lawson Family and the centrepiece of a vast sheep station, it was built to reflect the family's success and dominance at a time when wool was king in the Australian economy.

The homestead is now beautifully set among the vines and towering red gums and is a comfortable country house available for overnight accommodation.

There are six guest bedrooms overlooking the garden and vines of the estate. Wine from a fine cellar and formal or casual dining are available at the homestead as well as relaxing accommodation.
